The 2004 Program: "Immigration and Identity within the European Context"

In consultation with the Provost the Global Stewardship advisory committee will select six to nine W&L faculty members to participate.  The participants will receive funding to cover travel, lodging, most meals, and other program fees.  Participants will be responsible for personal expenses.

The on-campus seminar, led by various W&L faculty, will meet once a month from December to May and will follow a reading list of materials from across the disciplines.

Following the on-campus portion, the seminar will culminate with two site visits in early June, one to a northern-European locale and the other to a southern site.  Both visits will likely be hosted by institutes with whom we have or are developing a special relationship, such as DIS in Copenhagen and John Cabot in Rome . For site visits details and other information on the on-campus program go to the 2004 Seminar Homepage
