Looking for an internship: Getting Started 

1.  Visit  the Center for International Education and speak with Latha Dawson, Program Coodinator, or William Klingelhofer, Director,  for ideas about internship opportunities and sponsoring organizations.  Many of these are listed on the CIE's Work Abroad/Internship website.

2. Consult with Career Services in the Elrods Common and check out electronic resources, such as E-Recruiting and Going Global, as well as their library resources.  

3. Speak with W&L students who have recently undertaken an internship abroad. 

4.  Consult with Professors on campus who may either have contacts abroad or their own program internships, such as Profs. Beckley (Shepherd), Kahn (Environmental Studies), Pirkle (Management), Luecke (Journalism), etc 

5. Go to the  James Madison University internship program website.
